PhD in architecture and research, she is co-founder and member of the MAIO architecture studio. Her work, linked to queer and feminist thought, focuses on the design of domestic systems capable of dismantling social inequalities. 

Other research projects include Kitchenless City, winner of the 2016 Wheelwright Prize at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. She currently teaches at the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP), at the University of Columbia, and previously taught at the Royal College of Arts in London, the Massana School of Design and the Technical University of Catalonia (ETSAV-UPC), where she was also part of the Habitar research group.

MAIO's projects have received awards such as the FAD and have been exhibited at the MoMa in New York and the Venice Architecture Biennale.
